Our shop, Gpm Info Tech, is down in Vickramasingapuram on Ambalavanapuram Main Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we’re right opposite the Amali Girls Higher Secondary School. You’ll see the school gate and then just look across the road for Shop 5 B. It’s a quiet area mostly, except for when the school starts or lets out in the afternoon. Then the whole street fills up with kids and parents. We have a modest setup here. It’s not one of those glass-fronted offices you see in big cities. We just have a couple of rooms where we set up our computers and equipment. Most days, it’s just the sound of the fans and the keyboard clicking. We help out the local folks with their tech stuff, whether it’s some software issue or just setting something up. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign while they’re walking to the market. The weather here can get quite warm, so we keep the doors open to get a breeze. It’s a simple life running a business in a place like this. We know most of our customers by name, and they know where to find us if something goes wrong. We just try to stay busy and do the job right the first time. It keeps us occupied and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop.
