You can find J S Chair Land over on Courtallam Road in Melagaram. We are right there at number 12, quite close to the SBI ATM, which is what most people use to find us. We deal with chairs for all sorts of things. Whether someone needs a few for their home or a whole bunch for a local function, we usually have what they are looking for. It’s a basic shop. We keep the chairs stacked up, and it’s a lot of moving them around to show customers the different types. Tirunelveli is where we are from, and Melagaram is a busy little spot, especially with people heading towards the falls. We don't do any big advertising or have a polished showroom. It’s just a place with honest furniture. My family helps out with the business. We spend the day talking to people who walk in and helping them load chairs onto their vehicles. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the shop with all the stock, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just like providing something useful to the people around here. If a chair isn't good, we don't sell it. It’s as simple as that. We’ve been at this for a while and know what people in this area need. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so we move some of the plastic chairs inside to keep them from getting too hot. It’s just the little things you learn after being in business for years. We're quite happy here.
