Chelva Exports

Chelva Exports is located right on the Main Road in Puliangudi, at number 613. Living on a busy road means there is always noise and traffic passing by our front door. We have been here for a long time, and most people in town know the building. We focus on exports, which means we spend a lot of time dealing with trucks and packing up goods. It can get pretty dusty and hot, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We don't have a lot of corporate rules; we just know what needs to get done and we do it. The people working here are mostly from around Puliangudi, so we are all friends or neighbors. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about family or what is happening in town. Sometimes we have a lot of items to move out quickly, and everyone has to jump in to help, even the ones who usually stay in the office. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a website that looks like a magazine, just this physical spot on Main Road where the trucks pull in and out. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. We often share some snacks in the afternoon when the heat gets to be too much for everyone.
