This branch of Ariv Technologies is located down in Ambasamudram, which is part of the Tirunelveli district. It is a much slower pace of life here compared to the big cities. Our office is simple and reflects the town we are in. We don’t have a fancy street number or a big complex name. People just know where we are in Ambasamudram. We do technical work, similar to what you’d find in any tech firm, but we do it from here. It’s nice because we don't have to deal with the massive traffic jams or the constant noise of a place like Bangalore. We have a small group of people working here. We start our day early and try to get most of the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. The office has the basics like good computers and a decent internet connection, which is really all we need. We spend our breaks talking about local news or what’s happening in the town. It’s a very grounded way to run a tech company. We don’t have a corporate hierarchy that makes things complicated. If something needs to be fixed, we just talk to each other and get it sorted out. It’s a very direct way of working. Being in Tirunelveli gives us a different perspective on things, and we like the quiet atmosphere for focusing on our tasks.
