R Vimalkumar R Renganathan

We are located at No.91, Thiruvalluver Street in Srirangam. It is right in Trichy-6. The name on the door is R Vimalkumar R Renganathan. It is a family thing, really. Renganathan is my father, and I am Vimalkumar. We have been using this space for a long time. It is a tight squeeze with all the supplies we keep in the back room. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get around to it. Srirangam is a nice place to work because of the temples nearby, so there are always people walking around. Our street gets a bit narrow, so parking a big car is a bit of a headache for visitors. We mostly deal with locals who know us by name. I do not use a computer for everything. I still like my physical ledger books. They do not crash. My father sits in the chair by the window most mornings, checking the mail. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. If we are not here, we are probably at the temple or getting some tiffin nearby. It is a slow pace of life, but we get the work done eventually. Sometimes the rain leaks a little through the front door, but we just put a bucket down. It is a real place with real problems. We just keep going. (253 words)
