You can find Universal Exports & Imports over at Kooni Bazaar. The address is No. 27/50-akeela Kosa Street. It’s a narrow street, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We have been working out of this building for a long time. It used to be a storage unit for another business before we took it over. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. Inside, there is mostly just boxes and shipping labels everywhere. We deal with stuff coming in and stuff going out. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking lists. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we just have to wait around for the phone to ring. My brother and I run the place. We don't have any fancy office chairs or anything like that. Just some old wooden desks and a computer that takes a minute to start up. Kooni Bazaar is always loud during the day, which we are used to by now. You hear the vendors shouting and the bikes zooming past the window. We try to keep things organized but it’s hard when three shipments arrive at the same time. The rain sometimes leaks through the front door gap, so we keep a bucket there. It’s just how it is. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just basic trade. If you come by, we usually have some biscuits to share.
