S S V Import & Export is situated at 10/1 on the 1st Main Road in Iyyerthottam, which is part of K. K. Nagar. It’s a pretty decent spot, though the parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been operating from here for some years now. The office is basically a few rooms where we keep our computers and all the records for the shipping. We don't go in for fancy decor or expensive rugs. It’s just a place to get the work done. We handle a variety of items, mostly making sure things get where they need to go across borders. It involves a lot of waiting on emails and making sure the customs forms are filled out correctly. We’re a small crew, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us working together. We try to be fair and honest in everything we do. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delay at the port, and we just have to deal with it as best as we can. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just show up every morning and do the job that needs doing. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady work. We like to finish our tasks before the sun goes down if we can manage it.
