About Harihar Alloy – Automobile in Tiruchirappalli
We are located at 4E/25 in Raja Colony, right on the road that leads toward the Collector's Office. It’s a busy area, so finding a parking spot near our gate can be a bit of a challenge some days. This building has been our base for a while now. We work with alloys here, which involves a lot of melting and casting. It’s technical work, but it’s also very physical. The shop floor is where most of us spend our time, watching the crucibles and making sure the molds are set up correctly. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. There’s always dust from the sand molds and the heat from the furnaces makes the air thick. We try to keep things organized, but in a foundry, there’s always something that needs cleaning or a pile of scrap that needs moving. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since the start. We know each other's families and usually share a pot of tea in the afternoons. Our office is just a small room with a couple of desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We don't put on any airs here. We just focus on making sure the castings come out without any cracks. It’s a steady kind of life, working through the orders and keeping the furnaces going through the week. We just do our best to stay on schedule.
