We've been at 45/2220 in Samadhan Society for quite a while now. Gandhinagar in Bandra East is a busy place, and our shop is right in the middle of it. Mostly, we just keep our heads down and work on the machining jobs that come our way. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by lunchtime, and the smell of cutting oil is just part of the atmosphere here. People come in with all sorts of requirements, and we do what we can with the equipment we've got. It’s not a fancy setup, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the electricity acts up in this part of town, so we have to adjust our schedule. We know the neighbors well, and they know the sound of our machines starting up early in the morning. Being in a place like Samadhan Society means you're part of a community, not just a business. We handle a lot of different metal parts and components every day. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean the tools and check the lathes. Other days, we’re rushing to finish something before the sun goes down. It’s just how it goes in a small machining shop. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workspace and a small desk where we keep the records. If you walk past Gandhinagar, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. That’s just the way it is here.
