A 1 Food World

A 1 Food World is located at Number 142 on Strahans Road in the Pulianthope area of Chennai. We are right near the White Mosque, which is a big landmark around here. Pulianthope is a crowded, lively neighborhood and our street is always full of activity. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long from our front door. We aren't a big fancy food court. We are just a local place where people can come to get something to eat without any fuss. The humidity in Chennai is usually pretty high, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while we work in the kitchen. It’s a lot of manual work, like carrying crates of supplies and prepping the food every morning. We don't have any big corporate goals or things like that. We just want to make sure the food is ready and the place is open for the people on Strahans Road. There are always people walking by, heading to the mosque or just going about their day. We know many of our regulars by sight, though we don't always know their names. It’s just a basic food business. We keep our heads down, do the work, and try to make sure everything is clean and ready for the next day. It’s just how things go here in Pulianthope. The rain can flood the street sometimes but we manage to stay open.
