Ranjit Singh Memorial School

You can find Ranjit Singh Memorial School over in Loonpuria Sesamukh Village. It is tucked away near the Post Office in Laipuli, which is where we usually go to handle all our mail and official paperwork. The village is mostly quiet, with a lot of open space and houses scattered around. The school has been a fixture in this community for many years. Most people in the area just know it as the local spot where the kids go every morning. We have a small playground that gets pretty muddy whenever the rains hit Laipuli, but the kids don't seem to mind much. The building is nothing special to look at, just plain walls and classrooms filled with old desks and maps. We don’t have any high-tech equipment or anything like that. Our teachers are often neighbors who have lived here their whole lives. The morning assembly is a daily habit, even if it starts a little late sometimes because of the rain or traffic on the village paths. It’s a simple existence compared to the schools in the big cities. We know everyone’s name and which family they belong to. The road leading up to the school isn’t always the smoothest, but we make it work. It is just our little corner of the world. We keep the gates open and do the work that needs to be done every single day.
