Ledo College

Ledo College is located up in the Tinsukia district of Assam. If you are trying to find us, we are in the Kalpara area, with the post office being Ledo. The pin code is 786182. It is a quiet part of the state, mostly green and away from the big city rush. We have been here for a good while, providing a place for local students to continue their studies after they finish school. The college isn't massive, but it has the space we need for our lectures and the small library we keep for research. Most of the people working here are from around Tinsukia or the nearby towns. We know the families and the students quite well since it’s a small community. The weather can be a bit unpredictable here, with plenty of rain throughout the year, but the college stays open regardless. We don't have any fancy stuff, just desks, chairs, and some blackboards in the rooms. The focus is always on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids with their exams. It can be a long walk or ride for some of the students who live further out in the district, but they show up every day anyway. We handle everything from admissions to the final papers right from our small office on the ground floor. It's just a regular college trying to do its part in this corner of Assam. We hope the kids learn something useful while they stay with us.
