Icici Bank

Our branch of Icici Bank is located right here in Sripuria Congress Colony, which is a pretty lively part of Tinsukia. We are basically guests in Malinmoy Dutta’s place, and being near the Bani Sadhan School Lane means it gets really noisy in the afternoons. You can hear the school kids shouting and running around when they get let out. It’s not like a quiet library in here, obviously. We are usually busy helping people from the colony with their accounts or whatever else they need. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but once you find the school, you can’t miss us. We don't use a lot of big words or try to confuse people with banking talk. We just sit at our desks and try to get the numbers right. The floor might be a bit scuffed from all the people walking in, and sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Assam heat, but we make it work. It feels more like a neighborhood shop than a big bank sometimes because we see the same people every week. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch or anything like that. We are just here to handle the cash and the forms so you can get on with your day. It’s a practical setup, tucked away in a residential lane, just doing the daily grind of banking for the local community in Tinsukia.
