Vivas Foods

Vivas Foods is located on Vadanappally Road in Kanjani. It’s a fairly busy road with lots of people heading back and forth throughout the day. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we handle the food items. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It can get pretty hot during the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast. We don't have a big corporate office or a lot of paperwork to deal with. It’s mostly just hands-on work from the time we open until we lock up. Kanjani is a nice enough place to be, and being on the main road helps people find us without too much trouble. Sometimes we stand out front for a minute to get some air and watch the buses go by. We’ve had some long days here, especially when a big delivery arrives and we have to move everything by hand. We don't try to be something we're not. We just provide what we have and keep the place running as best as we can. It’s a bit of a repetitive job, but there is something good about knowing exactly what needs to be done every morning. The floors get scuffed and the walls could probably use some paint, but the work gets finished regardless of how the place looks on the outside.
