We are located on the second floor of Kolangara Tower. It’s right on Cheroor Main Road in Peringavu, so it’s easy to spot if you’re driving by. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we are just looking at our desks. Ubv Foods is a small team and we spend our days handling the logistics of moving food products around. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to be honest. The tower itself is pretty busy with other businesses, so there’s always people coming and going in the stairs. We don't have any flashy decorations or a big front desk. It’s just an office where we get the work done. The Peringavu area is a good place for us because it’s central. Sometimes we go downstairs for tea when things get slow, but usually, there’s enough to keep us occupied here. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the layout. It's not a huge space, but it's enough for the few of us who work here daily. We don't really have a marketing person, so we just focus on the actual food side of things. It's a lot of checking invoices and making sure the storage is okay. It’s just regular work for us, nothing too complicated or special, just making sure the business stays running smoothly at Kolangara Tower. We sometimes have to deal with the lift being out of order.
