Trichur Towers

We’ve been here on T.B. Road for quite a while now. Trichur Towers is just where we work every day, and it’s a place that most people in the neighborhood know by sight. It’s a tall building, fairly easy to spot when you're coming down the street towards the 680021 area code. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have the lobby where folks come and go, and the rooms upstairs. It’s not fancy, just a solid place to stay if you’re passing through town or here for some work. The staff here mostly grew up around these parts, so we know the shortcuts and where to get a decent tea nearby. Sometimes the lift is a bit slow when everyone is checking out at once, but we manage. We spend a lot of time keeping the floors clean and making sure the water is hot in the mornings. There’s always someone at the front desk, even late at night when the road gets quiet. We don't have a lot of big signs or flashy lights. It’s just the name on the front and the address on the wall. People come here because they need a bed or a spot for a meeting, and we give them that. We’ve seen the city change a lot from our windows, but the building stays the same, just getting a little older like the rest of us. It’s a job we take seriously, even if we don't talk about it in a big way.
