Hotel Elite

Hotel Elite is situated right on East Nada in Guruvayur. Being so close to the temple means we are in a very busy spot. There are always people walking by, especially early in the morning and late at night. We have been part of this street for a long time. The hotel itself is a straightforward building with several floors of rooms. We don't put on any airs here. It is just a place for pilgrims and travelers to stay while they are in town. Our staff is mostly local people who know the rhythm of the temple visits. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person. The bells from the temple and the sound of the crowds are just part of the background noise for us now. We have a small desk where we help people with their keys and answer questions about the local area. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for what people need. Most guests aren't looking for luxury; they just want a clean bed and a shower. We try to keep things quiet inside even though it’s loud outside. It’s a busy life running a hotel in this part of town, but we’re used to it. We just keep the doors open and do our best to stay on top of things every day. We don't use any fancy talk, just plain English for whoever needs a room.
