Tm Traders

We are Tm Traders, and we run our business out of Maa Bhavana in the Thrissur District. Maa Bhavana is actually an old house that we converted so we could have a place to work. It’s got those big Kerala-style windows and a nice front porch where we usually leave our sandals. Thrissur is a great place to live, even though the rains can be a bit much sometimes. We spend most of our time dealing with different goods that come in from suppliers. It’s mostly just boxes of stuff that we have to sort through and then send out to the local shops. We don’t have a fancy office with big desks. It’s just some plain tables and a few chairs in the front room. We have a landline phone that rings quite a lot during the day. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with paper files. We are a small operation, so you usually just talk to one of us directly when you call. We don’t have any marketing people or a big sales team. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for years. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the deliveries are on time. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the monsoon hits and the street gets flooded. We just keep working.
