We are based at Thalappilli House, which is Door No. 6/218 in the Nellani area of Mulayam P.O. This is where Thrissur Diary Products Private Limited gets everything done. It’s not a huge industrial factory; it’s more of a local operation that has grown out of our own neighborhood. We deal with milk and other dairy items every single day. The morning starts very early here, usually while most people in Thrissur are still sleeping. We have to get the milk collected and processed before the sun gets too hot. It’s a lot of washing, cooling, and checking temperatures. The house is always a bit busy with people coming and going. We don’t have a separate marketing department or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the door and ask. We just do things the old-fashioned way, focusing on the product itself rather than how it’s packaged or advertised. Sometimes we have issues with the equipment, or the delivery van gets a flat tire, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s a real, messy, but rewarding business. We know our neighbors and they know us. Being in Nellani gives us a good connection to the local farms. We just try to keep the milk fresh and the customers happy without making a big deal out of it.
