The County Mills

You can find The County Mills over in Edakulam, specifically in Ward No-1 at the building called Madhavam. We are pretty close to Irinjalakuda, so it’s easy for people to find us. This place is mostly about the work we do with the grains and processing. It’s a bit of a noisy environment with the machines running, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't some modern high-tech factory, just a regular mill where we get our hands dirty every day. The building, Madhavam, has some history to it and we try to keep it in good shape as much as we can. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. Our "office" is usually just a desk near the main entrance where we can see everyone coming and going. We started this because there was a need for a local mill in this part of Edakulam. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them ourselves, which is frustrating but part of the job. We aren't looking to expand into a massive empire, we just want to keep the mill running steadily for the people around Irinjalakuda who depend on us. It’s a practical, straightforward business without any of the extra fluff you see in big cities. We just focus on the task at hand and keep the machines moving.
