Thashkant Engg. Works,Thrissur

Our workshop is set up at Chirakkal House over in Puvathur, which is a part of Thrissur. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but it is a good spot for what we do. Engineering work can get pretty loud and messy, so being in a residential area means we have to be careful about the noise sometimes. We do a lot of metal work and mechanical repairs here. Most of the day is spent with tools in hand, fixing whatever comes through the door. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or scrap metal by the end of the shift. We started this small place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s not a huge factory or anything, just a solid space where we can get things done properly. People around here know us by name, which is how we like it. The weather in Kerala can make the workshop quite humid, especially during the monsoon when the rain hits the roof so hard we can barely hear each other talk. We just keep our heads down and finish the jobs. There is no front desk or secretary, you just walk in and find one of us. It is simple and honest work. We have been in Thirunellor for years and most of the locals stop by just to say hello even if they don't have any work for us.
