Pulari Engineering

We are based in the Pulari Building, which is right on the road near the Thambulam Police Station. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the station is, so they never get lost finding us. The workshop is always full of the sound of machines running and metal being worked on. We’ve got oil stains on the floor and tools scattered across the benches, which is exactly how an engineering place should look. Most of our days are spent fixing parts or fabricating things that people bring in. It’s hard, greasy work, and we usually go home with blackened fingernails. We don’t have a fancy reception area; you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a welding torch at the moment. The heat from the machines can get pretty intense, especially in the afternoons, but we just open the big doors to let the air in. We’ve been in Thambulam for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change around us. Despite the changes, we just keep doing what we know how to do. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a team of people who know how to use their hands and their heads. We don't make big promises, we just take a look at the job and tell you if we can do it. It is a straightforward way of working that has served us well over the years. We stay till the job is done.
