S. N. Nidhi Limited

S. N. Nidhi Limited is based in the Mekkadan Shopping Complex, specifically at 39E. We are right in the middle of Chalakudy, Thrissur. If you are ever at the shopping complex, you’ll probably see our sign near the other shops. The office belongs to Santhosh, and that’s where we do all our daily work. Being in a shopping complex means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside, which we actually like. Inside, though, we keep things pretty quiet so we can focus on the numbers. We are a Nidhi company, so our whole purpose is to help the people around Chalakudy save their money and get small loans when they are in a pinch. We aren't a big institution with fancy slogans. We are just a few people sitting at desks, helping out our members. A typical day involves people coming in to pay their installments or check their balances. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down by hand. It isn't a high-tech operation, but it is reliable. Most of our members are local shopkeepers or families from the area. We know them, and they know us. We try to be as practical as possible with everything we do. There’s no need for complicated language or big promises. We just keep the books straight and make sure everyone is treated fairly. We enjoy the daily bustle of the shopping complex.
