Rock Brickz

We are located right in Chalakudy, very close to the church. Most people know the spot because you can see our stacks from the main path. Rock Brickz is basically a small operation we started to help out with all the building happening in this area. It isn't a massive factory. It’s just a yard with some sheds and a lot of finished inventory sitting around. We handle the whole process from getting the raw earth to getting the final product out the door. The humidity here can be a real pain when we're trying to get things to dry, so we have to watch the weather closely. I usually spend my time talking to the drivers and making sure the counts are right. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We’re all in our work clothes, usually covered in some kind of grit. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just make bricks because there’s a need for them and we have the space to do it. If the machine breaks, we fix it. If a customer needs a load delivered early, we try to make it happen. It’s just us doing our daily rounds. The church bells are our clock most days. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep moving forward.
