Reliance Supermarket

Reliance Supermarket is located in the Simis Complex on Kuruppam Road in Kuruppam. It’s a familiar spot for a lot of people who live around here. We spend our days making sure the shelves are filled with whatever people might need for their kitchens or homes. It’s a lot of physical work, moving boxes and checking the dates on products. The floor gets scuffed up from the shopping carts, and we are constantly trying to keep things tidy. It’s not always perfectly organized, especially on the weekends when it gets really crowded with families doing their weekly shopping. You can hear the hum of the refrigerators and the beep of the scanners all day long. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to wait until the next truck arrives. The staff here are just local people who know the regulars by name. We don't have a lot of fancy displays, just the items people come in for. Kuruppam Road is always busy, and being in the Simis Complex means there is always something going on outside our doors. We open early and stay open late most days. It’s just a regular store where we try to keep the lights on and the shelves stocked so the neighborhood has a place to get their daily essentials without any fuss. It’s busy work but it keeps us on our feet.
