Play School Aghil

Play School Aghil is a small place located in Erayamkudi, which is part of the Kallur Thekkummuri area in Thrissur. We are not a big institution with hundreds of students. It is more of a local neighborhood school for the little ones who are just starting out. The building is actually a house that we adapted for the children, so it has a very home-like feel to it. There are toys and drawings everywhere, and it is rarely ever perfectly quiet or tidy. With young children around, things are always a bit messy, but that is just how it goes. We have a few local women who work here as teachers and helpers. They have a lot of patience for the crying and the laughter that happens every single day. We do not have a big gate with a security guard or a fancy office. Most of the parents just walk up to the door to drop off their kids and have a quick word with us. Most of the families live just a few streets away. We do not spend money on advertisements or glossy folders. It is just a simple, friendly place where the kids can play and learn a few basic things before they grow up and head to a bigger school. We just try to keep them safe and happy for the few hours they are with us.
