Little Miracle Montessori Pre School

Our preschool is in the Asokan Doctor Building, which is on Kasthurbha Lane in the Kurkancheri area of Thrissur. Little Miracle Montessori Pre School is a small, local place where we focus on the Montessori method for the younger kids. The building isn’t very large, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. Inside, the rooms are divided into different activity areas. We have shelves with all the specific materials the children use for their daily tasks. The teachers here are trained, but we don't act like a big corporation. It's more like a community where we know all the parents and the kids by name. The lane outside is usually quiet, which is nice for a school. We spend our mornings helping the kids learn how to do things for themselves, like pouring water or putting their shoes on. There’s no big playground, but we have a small space for them to move around. We don't do much advertising. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings were here or a neighbor recommended us. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. Sometimes the rooms get a bit cluttered with all the projects the kids are working on, but that’s just part of how we operate. We keep things simple and focus on the daily routine. We open the doors early in the morning and wait for the parents to drop their kids off before heading to work in the city.
