Udyan Aromatics

We are based out of Koratty East in the Thrissur district. Our place is No. 3/358-b in Chirangara. It’s a busy little spot but we have grown to like it here over the years. Working at Udyan Aromatics means there is usually a very distinct smell in the air around our building. Some days it is much stronger than others depending on what exactly we are processing that morning. We started this business because we had some extra space and a bit of knowledge about the local plants. It’s not a huge operation by any means. It is just a few rooms and some equipment we’ve had for a long time. Most of our neighbors know us by the scent of the oils we make. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the raw materials that come in. The post office is quite close by, which really helps when we need to send out mail. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the daily tasks ourselves. Sometimes we run late and have to stay into the evening to finish a specific batch. The floors are just concrete and we try to keep them as clean as we can. It gets very hot in the afternoons here in Thrissur, so we usually start very early to beat the sun. If you come by, you might see us sitting out front.
