Double Star Exports

Double Star Exports is located in Perumbillissery Cherpu. If you know the area, you know it’s a place where people actually make things with their hands. We’ve been part of this community for a while. Our work involves getting local goods ready to send out to other places. It involves a lot of packing tape, cardboard boxes, and checking labels. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse area making sure everything is wrapped up tight so nothing breaks during the journey. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep moving. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with coffee. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, making sure the orders are correct. Some days we have more boxes than we know what to do with, and other days are a bit slower, which gives us time to clean up the workspace. We’ve learned a lot over the years about how to ship things properly. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port or with the trucks. We just deal with those things as they come up. We like being in Cherpu because it feels like home. The people here are hardworking, and we try to be the same way. We just want to get the products from point A to point B without any fuss.
