You can find Kuruthukulam Associates on Shastri Road in the village of Paravattani. We are situated quite close to the Jubli Mission Hospital, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find their way around here. The road is often crowded with people heading to the hospital, so there is a constant flow of pedestrians and vehicles outside our door. Our office is not very big, just a few rooms where we keep our files and desks. It is a very plain setup because we don't believe in spending money on things that don't help with the actual work. I have been working here for a long time, and I have seen the village change quite a bit as more buildings have gone up. We spend our days dealing with the tasks that come across our desks. There is always plenty of paperwork to go through, and the phone rings more often than I sometimes like. We don't have a corporate culture or anything like that. We are just a group of people who have worked together for a long time and know how to get things done without making a fuss. Usually, we have a quick lunch brought in from a local spot and then get right back to it. By the time the sun starts to set, we are usually finishing up the last of the day's tasks. It is a steady, predictable life and it suits us just fine.
