Fathima Hypermarket

We are located over at 2D Kuttippuram Road in Puzhakkal. If you know where the Sobha City Mall is then you have probably seen our sign nearby. Even though we are called a hypermarket we try to keep things feeling like a regular shop where people feel comfortable coming in. The aisles are filled with everything from fresh vegetables to household cleaners and big bags of flour. It gets quite crowded on the weekends when families come in to do their big shopping for the week. We have workers running around restocking the shelves and helping people find where the lentils or the soaps are kept. The floors are plain tile and we try to keep them clean but with so many people walking through it is a constant job. There is always a lot of activity near the billing counters and sometimes the queues get a little long when it’s busy. We don't have any fancy music playing or anything like that just the sounds of people talking and the carts rolling across the floor. Out front the parking can get a bit tight because Kuttippuram Road is always moving with traffic. We just focus on getting the items onto the shelves and making sure there is enough for everyone who walks through the door. It’s a straightforward business and we stay pretty occupied from the time we open until the shutters go down at night.
