Athreja Engineering Industrues

We are located right on Kottappuram Road in Poothole. It’s a decent area, though the traffic can get backed up during rush hour. Our workshop is usually humming with the sound of machines and people shouting over them. We do engineering work, mostly making parts and fixing things that others can't. It’s not the cleanest job, you’ll usually find oil stains on our shirts and grease under our fingernails. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on a lathe or checking some blueprints. We’ve been in Poothole for quite some time now, so we know the local shops and where to get the best lunch. The building is a bit old, and the roof leaks a little when it pours, but it serves us well enough. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just take the drawings, figure out how to make the metal do what it’s supposed to, and get the job out the door. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking. Sometimes we stay late when a project is behind, just drinking tea and making sure the welds are right. It’s a practical life, and we’re okay with that. There’s always some new challenge coming in through the gate, which keeps things interesting for the guys. We just take it one day at a time.
