Our office is located at the Kadavath house in Thrissur, Kerala. It’s a bit different from your typical industrial unit because it’s based out of a local premises here in the 680683 area. Being in Thrissur, we’re surrounded by a lot of greenery and trees, which is nice compared to the cramped feel of the big cities. We do engineering work, mostly handling local contracts and technical jobs that come our way through various contacts. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it’s easier for us to manage things ourselves. We don’t have a big corporate structure or lots of different managers running around. It’s just a few of us who know how to get things done without making a fuss. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at job sites looking at projects firsthand. When we are actually in the office, it’s mostly for doing the paperwork and planning out the next week’s work schedule. The pace here in Kerala can be a little slower sometimes, but we still make sure our work is finished by the deadline. We don’t use any marketing tricks or big slogans to get attention. We just rely on people knowing who we are and what we can do for them. It’s been a steady way of working for many years now. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get out to the sites, so we stay in and catch up on our drawings.
