Sadhana Engineering Industries

Sadhana Engineering Industries is located right in the middle of the Corporation Market Building in Kokkalai. It’s a loud place most of the time because of all the other shops and the general market noise. We have been here for years, dealing with metal parts and engineering jobs that come our way. The space is a bit cramped with all the tools and raw materials we keep on hand. You can find us easily if you know the market, though the parking outside is always a bit of a nightmare. We spend most of our hours fixing things or cutting metal to size. It’s dusty work and our hands are rarely clean. There is no air conditioning, so we just keep the fans running and hope for a breeze from the doorway. We know most of the people around this part of Kokkalai by name now. It’s a very practical sort of life here. We don't spend money on fancy signs or office chairs that actually roll properly. We just focus on the lathe machines and making sure the measurements are right on whatever we are building that day. Sometimes a customer brings in a part that’s completely broken and we have to figure out how to replicate it from scratch. It takes time and a lot of patience. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly between jobs. It’s just how we run things.
