You’ll find us down on Viripaara Road, right by the river in Athirappilly. Our spot is 8/597G in Konnakuzhi. It’s a pretty simple place, really. We’re right there where you can see the water moving, which is nice when the weather is clear. We don't have a big staff of people in suits. Usually, it's just a couple of us making sure the river view stays clear of brush. Living and working in Athirappilly means you get used to the sound of the water and the tourists passing by. We opened up this resort because the location was just sitting there. We do the cleaning ourselves and handle the guests when they show up at the gate. The road out here, Viripaara Road, can get a bit dusty in the summer months. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the rooms are clean and the plumbing works. People usually come here to get away from the city noise in Kochi or Thrissur. We’re just a local business trying to get by. It’s honest work. Sometimes the internet is slow because of the trees, but we manage. If you’re looking for the big Konnakuzhi sign, we’re not too far from there. We aren't trying to be fancy, just offering a place to stay by the water while you explore the area.
