Arcon Engineers

If you walk down Pallath Lane in Punkunnam, you will probably hear us before you see us. We are tucked away near the church, and honestly, the location works out well for us. Arcon Engineers is basically just a small team of us who enjoy fixing things and building metal structures. It’s been our home for quite some time now. The workshop floor is always covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the shift. We get all sorts of people coming in, from neighbors needing a small weld to bigger projects that take up the whole floor space. It gets loud and sometimes it’s a bit messy, but that’s engineering for you. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby with chairs. If you come by, you’ll likely find one of us under a machine or holding a torch. We’ve learned everything on the job over the years. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down and we have to figure out a way to get it moving again without having the right spare parts immediately on hand. We just use what we have and find a solution. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the Punkunnam community and seeing the same faces every week. It’s a simple life here in the lane, doing work we understand and helping out where we can.
