Al Rayan

Al Rayan is situated right near the Dharmasastha Ambalam, which is a very peaceful part of the neighborhood. You can often hear the sounds from the temple while we are working, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’ve grown fond of the trees and the way the light hits the building in the evening. Our business is pretty simple; we deal with local supplies and try to keep things running smoothly for anyone who walks through the door. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the stock is handled right. Being near the temple means we get a lot of foot traffic, and sometimes people stop in just to escape the sun for a minute. We don't have a lot of corporate rules or complicated systems; we just write things down and make sure the job gets done. The floors are usually a bit sandy, and we have a couple of old fans that hum all day to keep the air moving. It is a quiet, honest way to spend the day, and we like the community we have built up around here. Every morning feels the same, but in a way that is comfortable and familiar. We see the same faces walking to the temple, and they usually give us a nod as they pass by. It makes the day go by a little faster.
