Vignesh Engineering

We set up Vignesh Engineering at 1, 385A, Arumugam Nagar, right on the Meelavittan Main Road. It’s a convenient spot for us and for anyone trying to drop off some work. The shop isn’t huge, but we’ve tucked everything in so we can move around between the workbenches and the drills. Most mornings start with unlocking the big metal shutter and letting some air into the place. We do a lot of small-scale engineering and repairs for folks around here. Sometimes it’s a farmer needing a tool fixed, and other times it’s a local factory that needs a custom bracket. We don’t really have a set schedule; we just work until the day’s tasks are finished. There’s always a bit of oil on the floor and some metal shavings in the corners, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the work we do on Meelavittan Main Road. We like it here because people stop by to chat even when they don’t have a job for us. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic going by, but you get used to the sound of the trucks after a week or two. We don’t spend money on ads or big signs, we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people know we can help them out. The chalkboard by the door lists what we need to pick up from the hardware store.
