Meenakshi Industries

Meenakshi Industries is situated on Plot Number 13/8/9 in Ettampakkam Village. To get mail to us, it goes through the Tutikani Post. The area is fairly quiet, mostly just other small workshops and some open land with trees. We have a couple of different sections in our building for the different parts of the manufacturing we do. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the machinery and the raw materials we have stored in piles. We aren't a high-tech facility, just a regular factory floor where people are working with their hands every day. There’s a constant hum of machines and the sound of people talking over the noise. We started small many years ago and just added more equipment over time as we could afford it. The floor is concrete and has some cracks and stains, but it’s sturdy enough for the heavy work we do. We have a small staff of locals who walk or bike over from the village nearby. In the afternoons, we usually take a short break together under the shade of a tree outside the main door. We don't have a big marketing team or a sales department. We just make our products and send them out to the people who order them. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it has worked for us so far. We just try to keep the machines running every day and finish what we started in the morning.
