Sri Mahalakshmi Exports

We are located at 25 Toovepuram 8th Street in Tuticorin. Being in a place like Tuticorin, we are always around the activity of the port and the salt pans. Sri Mahalakshmi Exports has been part of this neighborhood for a while. Our building is just a regular house that we converted into an office and storage area. It’s tucked away on 8th Street, so it's a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors and checking on cargo status. The salt air can be tough on the equipment, so we have to keep an eye on everything. We don't have a big sign or anything to attract attention. Most of our work comes from people who already know us. There are piles of bags and boxes in the corners, and the desks are usually covered in ledger books. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to get the shipments moving. Some days are long, especially when there’s a deadline at the port. We just try to keep things simple and honest. We’re not looking to be the biggest, just to do our part and keep the business running. It’s a lot of routine, but we like it that way. We just show up and do what’s needed without making a big deal out of it.
