No. 3 Malaiappa Pillai Lane is where you can find us. It is one of those narrow lanes where you really have to know where you are going or you might miss the turn entirely. Because the lane is tight, we have to be careful when we are bringing goods in. Large trucks can't really make it all the way to the door, so there is a lot of carrying things back and forth by hand or using small carts. We have been in this spot for quite a while. The building is old but sturdy enough for what we need. We use the ground floor for all the main work. It is not a place with air conditioning or glass partitions. It is just a workspace with some tables and a lot of shelves against the walls. We spend our time looking over the items we are exporting to make sure they are okay. It is simple work, really. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. Most of the people working here have been with us since the start. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about the daily news while we pack. The neighbors are all used to us being here and the occasional blocked path when we have a delivery arriving. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a small export business operating out of a quiet lane in the middle of a busy city.
