Selva Exportstuticorin

We are based at 27b Toovipuram First Street. Being in this part of town means we are close to the action but tucked away enough to actually get some work finished. Selva Exportstuticorin is pretty much a family-style setup. We don't have a lot of formal rules or a dress code. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in old shirts and flip-flops, especially when the humidity gets high. Tuticorin is a busy place for trade, so there is always something moving. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with the port and making sure our containers are loaded properly. It’s a lot of waiting around sometimes, followed by a huge rush to get things done. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the goods and keep our records in thick binders that are starting to show their age. The office is a bit cluttered with samples and old newspapers, but we know where everything is. We take pride in just being regular people doing a job. Sometimes the phone lines act up, or the heat makes everyone a bit grumpy, but we stick to it. We just want to make sure the work is done right so we can go home and relax with our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life, and we are glad to be doing it here on Toovipuram First Street, even when the monsoon rain makes the road a bit muddy for the trucks.
