You can find Mms Exports over at No. 9/110 on Kayamozhi Road in Paraman Kurichi. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like being away from the main city congestion. Our facility is situated right on the side of the road, which makes it easy for the transport vans to pull in and out. The building is older, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the road outside. Most of what we do involves prepping items for export, which means a lot of checking, double-checking, and labeling. We don't have any fancy automated systems, so most of it is done by hand by the local people we employ from the village. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes the goats from the nearby farm wander near the gate, and we have to shoo them away so they don’t get in the way of the loading. We usually start our day early, around seven, to get a head start before the humidity gets too high. There isn’t a lot of fluff here; it’s just a workspace where things get packed up and sent on their way. We deal with various goods, and the inventory is always changing depending on what’s in demand. It’s steady work that keeps the local community involved.
