Svm Exports

Svm Exports is located over at No. 2f/1049 in P & T Colony. We are specifically on 6th Street West, which is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood most of the time. We moved into this spot because it had enough room for our supplies and a decent enough area to load up the smaller vans. Working in export means we spend a lot of time on the computer looking at spreadsheets and then even more time in the back room checking on the actual stock. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of fans going full blast just to keep things moving. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here making sure the orders get processed correctly. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat while we are moving boxes around. We’ve got a routine down where we handle the paperwork in the morning when it's cooler. The street outside is narrow, so we have to be careful when the delivery drivers show up or they’ll block the whole road. It’s a simple setup we have here. Nothing fancy or corporate about it. We just try to stay organized and keep our heads down. Dealing with international shipping has its headaches, like when a package gets delayed for no clear reason, but that is just how this business goes. We like being in this part of town.
