Being over at World Trade Avenue in the Harbour Estate means we are right in the middle of all the port activity. You can hear the ships and the cranes moving containers all day long. A-1 is where we keep our office. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned building, but it has character. The air always smells a bit like salt and diesel. We have been operating as a family-run business for a long time, and you can see that in how the office is set up. There are stacks of paper everywhere and old photos on the walls that have faded over the years. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a modern tech startup. We do things the way they’ve always been done, mostly because it works for us. Our staff knows the harbour like the back of their hands. We spend a lot of time coordinating things and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the monsoon when the docks get slippery and messy. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come to see us, you’ll probably just find us busy at our desks or talking on the phone. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure we haven't missed any details. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily logistics of the estate as best as we can.
