Fresh Basket Global

We've been over here at 36, Salai Street for a while now. Most people in Sindupoondurai know where the building is because of the blue door. Fresh Basket Global isn't some huge corporation, it’s just us trying to keep things moving every day. We handle a lot of different orders. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic in the mornings when the trucks arrive. My cousin helps out with the paperwork, though he’s usually late. We started out small and just kept at it because there was a need for it in the area. The street outside can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early on. It’s not always pretty, and the office is a bit cluttered with samples and old folders, but we know where everything is. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what’s coming in for the week. We don’t spend much time on fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. It’s a lot of long hours, standing around, and making sure the quality is decent enough to send out. The heat in Sindupoondurai can be a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and get through the work. That’s pretty much how it goes here. Just a local spot trying to stay busy and making sure the crates are packed right before the sun goes down.
