T. M. J. Exim Company

T. M. J. Exim Company is located at No. 2/204 on Chetty Street in Achuthamangalam. It’s a typical street where everyone knows everyone else. We’ve been running our import and export business from here for quite some time now. The building is simple and we use every bit of the space we have. There are always stacks of paperwork on the desks and boxes waiting to be checked. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a place where we come to work. We spend a lot of time talking to local producers and then figuring out how to get their stuff to international markets. It’s a lot of logistics and timing. Sometimes the weather plays havoc with the schedules, but we do what we can to fix it. People in Achuthamangalam are hard workers and we try to be the same. We don’t really do anything fancy to get customers. We just handle the goods carefully and make sure the shipping details are handled. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s important. We have a small group of people who have been with us for a while. We all just pitch in where it is needed. Whether it’s answering the phone or helping load a small truck, we just get it done. Chetty Street is a busy place, and we are just one part of it.
