Brahmmashiv Impex Trading is based over here in Vanchiyoor, right at K. M. S. Tra- 43 near the post office. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists of what’s coming in and what’s going out. Trading sounds like it might be fast and exciting, but a lot of it is just making sure the numbers match and the boxes get to the right place on time. We handle different kinds of goods, and every day brings a different set of problems to solve. Sometimes a shipment is late, or a customer needs something we haven't seen in months. We just stay at it until the job is done. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. We’ve been here in Vanchiyoor for a bit now, and we know the neighborhood well. It's a lot of paperwork, truth be told. We sit around the main table and figure out the logistics for the next week. It's not glamorous work, but it’s how we make a living. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the trading moving smoothly so everyone is happy. It’s just us, the inventory lists, and the occasional tea break when things get too hectic.
