Seaboy Fisheries Iqf Division Private Limited is set up over at Door No 15/132 in Puthenthope. It’s a local spot, not too far from the water. We have this IQF division which is basically just a way to freeze the fish properly so they stay good. It sounds more technical than it actually feels when you are standing in the middle of the workspace. The building is a plain one, right there in the Puthenthope P.O. area. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the machinery is doing what it’s supposed to. It’s cold work sometimes, but that’s the nature of the job. We aren't some big city firm with suits and ties. Most of us just wear what’s practical for moving crates and handling the freezing units. It’s a bit noisy with the fans running, but we’re used to it. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who handle the fish processing. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. Most of our business comes from people just knowing we are here and that we do the work. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and we just keep things moving one day at a time. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to the details of the freezing process. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when the catch is big.
