Punartham Salt

Punartham Salt is located at 544 Mp Appan Road down in Pozhiyoor. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is good for us. We focus on the salt business, which is what we’ve always done. The building is simple and serves its purpose for storage and the small office we have. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and talking to the drivers. It isn't a high-tech operation, just standard equipment and manual labor when it's needed. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now, so we’ve grown used to the pace of things here. Sometimes we get a lot of orders at once and it gets a little crowded in the yard, but we figure it out. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure the salt gets where it’s supposed to go. People in Pozhiyoor know us by now. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just do the work and try to be fair about it. The weather can be a factor sometimes, especially being where we are, but we work around it. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay steady and keep the salt moving out to the people who need it. We don't need fancy tools to do our job, just some common sense and a bit of effort every morning. It’s basic, but it’s what we know best.
